Care Project Update April 2020

To all our Care Project participants and those interested in the Care Network: like everyone we are working out how to adapt to this strange new world. Our original plan was to host a series of exhibitions this year on care, ethics and feminism, to expose how artists imagine alternatives to neo-liberal politics by practising through and with care. Those planned exhibitions will still go ahead, postponed to negotiated times late 2020 and into 2021. Once we have a clearer sense of schedule, we will publish here.

It has been stunning to see how this crisis has foregrounded the very issues driving the case for a care values revolution: what is essential could not be clearer. And hence the timeliness, the urgency, of care art and discourse.
