Future Feminist Archive brings together a cross-section of people in communities across NSW to  to discuss ways to create connections between local archives and local feminist histories. Led by community members and archive specialists it aims to consider ways of recovering archives that have been forgotten. It explores new relationships between archives and feminism.

Future Feminist Archive Seminar and How to DAAO Workshop at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, Saturday 18 July 2015 included presentations by Sarah Gurich, curator BRAG, Fiona MacDonald, artist, Tracey Callinan, Arts OutWest, Gillian Fuller, UNSW (NIEA, Art & Design), Eric Riddler, AGNSW Archive and Jo Holder, CAF.

Fiona MacDonald, who is well-known for her installations of bodies of work that draw on local cultural traditions, is researching Viv Binns’s ‘Full Flight’ (1981-82) as a feminist prototype for contemporary participatory practices.
