On 23rd March 2013 Artspace, Sydney presented with JANIS and in association with Art Month, Sydney a panel discussion: Feminism in Contemporary Art: If Not Why Not?The speakers were Julie Rrap (artist), Catriona Moore (Academic ArtHistTh and author of Dissonance: Feminism in the arts 1970-1990), Natalya Hughes (artist), Anna Davis (curator, MCA) and Jess Olivieri (artist, Parachutes for Ladies).

JANIS is an ongoing curatorial and publishing project aimed at promoting women in the arts.
